My first camera bag, was a small Manfrotto bag that carried a single camera and lens. It taught me that the perfect camera is the one you have on you. My second bag was a medium sized Manfrotto bag, which fit, a camera body, 2 lenses, and my Cannon Speedlite flash, and a light meter. This bag taught me the creative possibilities in lens choice and a basic understanding of lighting.
My current Camera bag is the Manfrotto ProTactic 450. I carry my Canon R5 as well as my Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K with an adapter for a EF mount. My lens selection has also improved. I predominantly use the Cannon 24-70mm F2.8 on the R5 and a 15-35mm f2.8 on the BMPCC4k. I also have a 100m 2.8 which I love using for product and model photography. When shooting ads and othe videography I use my 50mm, 35mm, and 85mm prime cine Lenses.
I also carry my Ronin DJI RS2 Pro, a really great gimbal for the price and weight. It has made a huge improvement to the variety of my work and is incredibly easy to use, compared to other gimbals. I also alternate between a GorillaPod Tripod, and two larger tripods, depending on the shoot.
Lighting is always complicated when you’re on the go, but Nanelite has been an easy solution to a complicated problem. We carry two Nanelite PavoTubes and a Nanelite MixPad. They have great battery life, are easy to use while on location, and with full RGB capabilities they’re perfect for any situation.
